Week 9

  1. 5 minute walk
  2. 15 minute run
  3. 10 minutes on recumbent bike
  4. 10 minutes on upright bike
  5. Ab crunch machine – 3 working sets, 15 reps
  6. Alternate heel touch crunch – 2 working sets, 40 reps
  7. Alternate leg raise crunch- 2 working sets, 15 reps
  8. Clock exercise – 40 reps

Week 9 Questions

Seeing results and maintaining them will motivate me to continue to be active in the future. I like seeing how a body can transform and change when putting in the work. I see myself continuing an active lifestyle through going to the gym as well as finding alternative ways in daily life to choose the more active route rather than the lazy ; for example, taking the stairs rather than the elevator, etc. 


Benefits present themselves upon living a healthy lifestyle such as better mood, weight loss, diabetes management, stroke prevention and so on. 


Possible consequences through living a sedentary lifestyle are anxiety, cardiovascular disease, migraines, depression, etc. 


Some examples of healthy fats are found in avocados, dark chocolate, whole eggs, etc.
